A fine rain had just started to fall onto the sun-dried pavement and the air was full of that distinctive "first rain in a while" smell.
It was warm enough to walk back to my car without a jacket, but there was just the hint of a chill in the air, as though winter wasn't quite ready to give up its grip.
The cherry blossoms of her neighbor's tree looked gorgeous, almost glowing white in the moonlight.

It dawned on me:
Spring has Sprung!
