Pics of The Haircut!!!

So it's been a little over a month since I BC (Big Chopped) my hair off. It's now blonde and starting to curl and coil everywhere. I have some pics (finally) of my hair before my recently haircut last Friday:

So I'm done being blonde. I have enjoyed it but with this crazy cold New York weather, I am not trying to get lifting my hair. From October to now I have lifted my hair 3 times!!! My hair is growing like crazy! I have been deep conditioning and treating it because I don't want damaged natural hair. So I'm going to........do an espresso or rich brown colour. I was tempted to do black but since my natural hair colour is in the sandy brown family that would be work that I don't need to do during the cold months, and also black colour always messes with my hair texture. I have no clue why.

Anyway, moving on. I have fell in love with this mens necklace that I purchased from Urban Outfitters. The line is called Waylaid and its a Ribcage! I love it! People ask me why I would buy it and my response is why not? The line has some awesome necklaces, I want to buy a couple more this winter. Well, that's all for now. Be blessed.

What I Bought Yesterday.....

Yesterday I was actually able to get a little shopping in for work. I don't know how long its been but I have reached this conclusion: I ABSOLUTELY HATE MALLS! Now that I got that out of my system, let me share with you the basic pieces I bought add to my new work wardrobe:

Fletcher by Lyell Pleated Pant- Urban Outfitters. I love the old school 1940's high fashion feel I had when I tried them on. They made me think of Katharine Hepburn and Lauren Bacall.

Kimchi Blue T-Strap Platform Shoes- Urban Outfitters. I love, love, love shoes that make me think of pinups. The heel and the straps are so adorable and yet they are kind of sexy.

Ruffle Dress- H&M.I bought the dress in black. I realize I don't really have any really cute dresses in  my wardrobe. I love the dress in black and it didn't hurt that it was only $14.95!!!!
Tulip Skirt- Macy's. I am not a department store person but I really needed a black skirt so I decided to try Macy's. I found one after spending too much time trying to figure out where the skirts were. SMH.

All in all, even though I am not a mall person (I would love to just spend my day in boutiques or in vintage shops) I needed a few basics and you can't go wrong in a mall if you are looking for basics. Next week, I am definitely going to some vintage shops. I love old school clothing!!!

Switch it Up!

Fall is right around the corner so that means its time to make some changes to the hairstyle and the wardrobe. I am so looking forward to the tartans, glamour, rock that fall is letting me chose from. So I am going to do a rocker prep look or a bohemian prep look. I am so excited! I have to get my jacket, flat boots, heel boots, heels, pants, tops, skirts, etc. The list just goes on and on! So many shops, so little time! I have my fav stores like Zara and J.Crew, my cute stores to get bits and pieces like Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and H&M, and new stores that I will be hiting up like White House, Black Market, Free People and Anthropologie. I love shopping!
