I love this girl! I am actually upset that now that I barely have any hair, I am seeing all my fellow short hair girls on the covers of magazines. First, Ginnifer Goodwin on InStyle UK and now Emma. I love the styling from this shoot and wanted to post it:

Thoughtless Thursday ...

FULL TERM BABY!

And by baby I mean as in "our son" and as in "YEAH BABY!"  Yep.  Little man is technically considered full term and could come at any time.  Even though we're waiting to induce until next Thursday, he could TECHNICALLY make his debut whenever he feels like it.  And this mommy wouldn't protest.  Here's what the little turkey looks like currently (except I'm pretty sure he's bigger because he's been measuring, as a whole, a week ahead of his gestational age) ...

I just can't WAIT for a photoshoot in these hats with a little bare newborn bottom!

Last but not least, my friend (and blog designer) Kelly brought me these yesterday.  You can bet your patootie little man will be wearing these in the hospital at some point.  AH-DORABLE!!!

And that's about it from me today friends.  Still sitting in a hospital bed, still waiting for little man's arrival.  At least it's cold and rainy out, I love being stuck inside watching movies and reading when it's weather like this.  I just wish I was at home, on the couch with my boy.  I MISS MY KODA BEAR!  Hopefully he'll remember who I am after I've been gone for 16 days!  Oh how I can't wait to rub those ears and kiss that sweet face!!!  Until then, this will have to suffice.

HAPPY BIRFDAY SOULMATEY!

Uh huh.  That's RIGHT!  It's my Soulmatey's birfday today!  WHO, bytheway, is probably, well maybe, well I'm pretty sure, going to go PUBLIC again!  Her blog has a new "do" that is DARLING (check out her little button on my page for a sneak peek at what it looks like) thanks to her blog designer and mine (and my good friend bytheway) miss Kelly of Fabulous K Creative!

So, I thought in honor of my Soulmatey and her birfday I'd post some pictures ...

No?  Well rest assured, SOMEDAY all these things will happen.  They just haven't yet.  Minus my head glowing part.  That would just be weird.

P. dittle S. for everyone wondering.  We saw my doctor today and looks like we'll be inducing to meet little man on Thursday November 11th.  I'm VERY excited but not too thrilled to have to be here 9 more days ... praying the time goes fast, can't wait to meet this little guy!!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!

Ok, so I's officially 26 (12:08pm). I am so excited to see what this year will bring for me. I always remind myself of Jeremiah 29:11 when I feel like I'm at a low point. So, I have a new job and.......a new hairstyle. I have really, really cut my hair. I love it! It feels so liberating! It's golden blonde and so short I don't have to do anything but brush it...until it grows out, lol. It looks like Amber Rose cut but a warmer blonde. (I don't care what people say about her, I love a person who isn't afraid to take a chance with fashion). I posted a pic of her to give you an idea of the cut, I'll try to post pics of me soon. I'm not sure what I will do this weekend to celebrate but tonight I'm going to the 92nd Street Y with a couple of friends from Redeemer Artist Small Group. I haven't seen them in awhile so it will be cool to catch up. Also, I have some really great news but I can't tell you guys yet.....Soon. Until then, be blessed.

What I'm Listening To: Brooke Fraser- Flags

Ok.....So, I will be seeing Mrs. Brooke Fraser (Ligertwood) in concert live on November 19, 2010 at The Highline Ballroom with my sister and cousin. I can not tell you how excited I am. The last time I saw someone perform live was Adele (also at The Highline Ballroom) when she was an unknown and I have been addicted to her music since. It's an amazing experience hearing someone live. It's a raw, unfiltered performance that will either have you loving the artist or hating them in the end. So, that being said; I have a digital download of Brooke's newest album Flags. I'm speechless! Maybe I'm bias (whatever) but I didn't think she would be able to top Albertine but I guess I was wrong. I can't even review it. All I can say is go out and get a copy; she sings about different people and situations and it's so vivid that you see the picture she is painting for you.......SMH. I have nothing more to say. I just can't wait until the 19th.

When Momma's Away ...

Daddy will WORK!  The Mister has been amazing doing all the things that I need want to be doing instead of being in bed to prepare for little C's arrival.  From picking up all the last minute necessities, finishing up the nursery and pretty much getting the house ready.  Oh and being sweet and bringing me surprises like this ...

And remember how I said he's been working?  Well here's some photographic proof.  I think he did pretty good from me dictating where I wanted stuff hung on the wall from pictures being emailed back and forth!

We still have a few things to do, but some of them I've told the Mister to wait and let me do when I get home.  I just LOVE how it's all come together!

And last (but not least!) thank you all for your sweet comments yesterday!  Each one made my day a little brighter  :)  I will for sure keep you all updated on little man's progress.  Today we see a perinatologist to check out my placenta and make sure it's working correctly.  Apparently a sign of preeclampsia (which is where the Pregnancy Induced Hypertension usually leads) is the placenta not producing nutrients right?   Or something like that.  So I will keep everyone updated as to how that goes!  At least I get to see little man's sweet face again!
