Watch City Of Ember and The Chronicles of Narnia

Lately I've been watching and downloading movies nonstop! i just finished City Of Ember and i must say, once again it's amazing. can't wait for the People of Sparks to come out! it's the sequel.

Here's the trailer for City Of Ember:

Now when i was searching for a good quality trailer online, i managed to find the actual movie uploaded. it's not as good quality as the one i downloaded, but it's there. Click here to watch it. it is hosted on megavideo.

i give it a 9/10 for video, and 9/10 for audio, so it's still fairly good.

I also downloaded The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian. i watched the first movie in theatres a few years ago, it was wonder, simply magnificent. and i also read reviews saying the second one was even better than the first! i had to have it.

Here the trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe:

And here's the trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian:

I managed to find the both of the movies uploaded on youtube, but there's no telling when it'll be deleted, since well, it's youtube...

Here is a playlist of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian:
(There are major parts missing on the second movie, so sorry, and the quality honestly is crap. Comment if you want me to find better ones or have me upload mine.)

And if you don't fancy watching it here or have a hard time navigating through the parts, here is the link to the playlist on youtube.

After this entry i'll be watching it, i have high expectations from all those good reviews :)

Also, other old movies i'm hoping to download includes:

  1. The Accidental Spy
  2. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
The Accidental Spy is a 2001 film made in Hong Kong starring Jackie Chan, one of my favourite actors. Ace Ventura is a 1994 USA film starring Canadian actor Jim Carrey! (yay Canadians!)

that's all for today,

Transformers

hmm, once again I'm up late. luckily it's a Friday so no school tomorrow :P. you'll be reading quite a lot about how I'm not sleeping and most entries will be posted at night. yes, i need a life, but hey, if you're reading this, then so do you? i guess?

well, this time I'm up because of Transformers, that 2007 movie i believe. Since it's 2009, and the new Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is coming out, i thought i should catch up on the first one.

here is an awesome trailer of the first one, best quality i could find on youtube:

and here's the second one, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen:

now i actually have the first one downloaded... (SHHH don't call the cops!) so if i gest a least like, 20 comments (from different people), i might consider uploading it for you guys! it's really high quality.

i don't want to ruin the movie by providing spoilers, and i'm also a horrible movie critic, so i'm not going to comment much about the movie. i'm just one of those people that loves watching romantic comedies, action films, historical, and anything else i can find online :P

Remember to comment if you want me to upload the movie Transformers!

Makeup Forever Cream Liner Update

I really wanted to love this liner. Really. I had heard such good things about it. And there are things about it that I like. It has a slight powdery consistency, which makes it go on softer than my MAC fluid line. However, the thing dried out really badly...and I made sure it was closed tight every time I used it. I was so paranoid about it drying out that I even closed it after each time I dipped the brush in it while I was applying it. So there is no reason why it should be as dry as it is.

Now...to be fair...the thing is not a hockey puck or anything...it's just shrinking away from the edges of the container. However, that is unacceptable. My MAC fluidline, in contrast, is perfectly moist still. And since I paid more for the MUFE cream liner, I expect it to last better than it has.

So although the liner stays on extremely well, and I like the texture/consistency...the drying out issue is reason enough for me not to purchase it again.

Cheap-o Blackhead Strips?

Kym Douglas, the author of books such as The Black Book of Hollywood Beauty Secrets and The Black Book of Hollywood Diet Secrets, was on Ellen yesterday to share with viewers some recession-proof beauty secrets.

One of them was washing your hair with beer (heard it before) and another was a way to get rid of blackheads.

She said that instead of using those expensive Biore Pore Strips to just use some white children's glue. Put it on your nose and let it dry, and when it comes off the blackheads come right out with it.

I was intrigued and decided to put this to the test. After washing my face last night I grabbed my Ross School Glue from my scrapbooking kit, smeared it on my nose and let it set.

It didn't work.

In the glue I could see indents where the pores are, but nothing had come out. The only thing I could see on the glue were those teeny-tiny blonde hairs you have all over your body. It did work as an exfoliator however, the same way as a peel-off mask, and my skin felt really smooth after.

Although the store-bought strips don't get rid of all your blackheads at least they get some, especially in the creases of your ala (good word eh?)

Maybe I'll try the glue trick for leg waxing?

One Vacation Coming Up!

It's Friday. I am in serious need of a change, I am so bored with myself right now. I realized that I am letting my joy slowly slip away. I need to do something even if its just spinning around in circles so I can get rid of this constant deja vu feeling. Spring is around the corner and I am looking to maxi dresses, sandals, bangles and chandelier earrings. I think I will cut my hair. My hair is in the growing out stage where it's no longer a "cut" or a "style" its just trimmed now. Its driving me nuts! Its too short for one style and too long for the other so I am going to chop it off and deal with my cousin and mom fussing with me. I have to keep my hair at a decent length until the wedding. (We will see, lol). On another note, I really need a vacation. I would love to go to Martinique (I loved To Have and Have Not), and enjoy the sun and sand. I would love a week of thinking about nothing but God's goodness, the sun and when's the best time to go swimming. Who's with me?

ahhhahahaha *crys* Why am i so ADD? or ADHD? (i don't really know the difference) :( i'm suppose to be studying and doing homework but instead i stayed up and it's currently 1 in the morning? and for what reason? NO SELF CONTROL! i know what i should do, but i put it off until the last minute, which usually takes time away from my sleeping schedule. i swear, if this keeps on happening i'm going to get some kind of cancer and die. or i might just get insomia. either way, this is really unheathy.

i seriously need someone to watch over me at all times. will i ever grow up? well, not very soon. i have no idea what i am going to do in university. i'm going die for sure, the temptations of going out and partying ever night? who could resist?! obviously not me since i can't even resist my computer T.T.

when my internet was cut off for 2 days i swear a part of me died. i never really realized how much i relied on the web! for entertainment, education, and just... wasting and procrastinating time! what a bad habbit, but there's just so much to do all the time. like writing this entry...

WHY AM I WRITING THIS ENTRY?! I MUST GO AND... NOT PROCRATINATE! I MUST!.. RESIST!
~Lily <===who's gunna die soon due to this bad habbit

The Only We Have to Fear is Fear Itself

I totally disagree with that statement. Hear me out. As Christians, we shouldn't fear anything or anyone but the Lord. And the fear that we have towards Him is a respect and admiration of who He is and what He can do. I only thought about that quote today because my cousin came to me with a business proposal for my gown line. I love making gowns and everyone thinks I am very talented. I also have a weird obsession with fabrics (lol), but I think the thing that scares me the most is failing. I think I am slowing myself down with stupid questions like: "am I good enough? Would I be creative enough to make it past 5 years?" Blah, blah, blah. I know that this is a stepping stone. If I fail, I fail; but at least I can say I tried. So now I am going to try. I also know that there's life and death in my tongue. So I speak life, creativity, business savy, success, Godly direction into my business. Now, I'm ready to go.
