Oroma Elewa in US Vogue March 2011

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Oroma before she became the editor of her own magazine!!!! Pop'Africana is the new indie magazine to keep your eye on. That being said, I nearly did a backflip when I saw Oroma in the March issue of US Vogue. I am so happy for her, she's a sweet person and I wish her all the best.

Kat Dennings- Indie Cool

Maybe it's me, but lately I have been bored with mainstream and want a little more gritty to keep me going. I have been looking into indie bands, movies, books etc for something new, fresh and different. I guess that's why I love Kat Dennings. I first liked her in Charlie Bartlett and then became to love her in Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. Also, she's not a stick so you know I love her even more, lol. I can't wait to see more from her and hope you doesn't become too mainstream....I hate when anyone becomes too mainstream. I'm done with that rant, lol. Be blessed.
