My Very Own Doppelganger!
What is a doppelganger you ask? A doppelganger is a double or a look alike. That brings me to today. Today I saw a young lady dressed very similar to me. That happens right? Yeah, but it has come to the point when the situation is funny but not quite. The young lady wears her hair short like I do and I find that we have too much in common to the point where I don’t want to hang out with her because it wouldn’t be interesting. No offense. I like people who are unique; weird even. When you remind me of myself and it’s not a coincidence; we have a serious, serious problem. I won’t say where I see her, since I don’t want to hurt someone or make them uncomfortable but I don’t like when people can’t be themselves. If you keep following people and trends all your life you are letting other people and situations dictate yourself. I will say this quote again: “BE YOURSELF, EVERYONE ELSE IS TAKEN.” SMH. Be blessed.

Make It Count!
My crush and I rarely speak, scratch that; we never speak. We only text and when we do it doesn't even skim the surface. Mostly everything I know about him is from what everyone else tells me. When we text we don't really talk about anything in particular just little things. I would like when we finish talking that we come away from the conversation knowing more about each other. I want us to have conversations that count, talk about things that matter. Is that too much to ask for? Next time we talk, I am going to do 10 questions. 10 questions is an exercise where you ask the person any 10 questions you want and they have to answer honestly. It's good if you don't want that akward silence to creep into the conversation. Let's see what happens there.....

I'm Not Going To Fake It
I don't understand why people want you to smile when you are clearly upset. It's bad enough I always have to smile when I am at work (lol). If I am upset, let me have my moment, and frown until I am over it. If it bothers you so much to look at me in that state, than say a prayer for me and look the other way. The funny thing is my smiles normally aren't random. When I was younger, I was painfully shy around people I didn't know. I rarely maintained or had any eye contact. As I got older, people always pointed out that I look so "serious". It was always because I was thinking about something. I have been trying to smile just because but it feels so weird. Very weird, lol. I will try to smile more now because I am conscious of it, maybe I might just get used to it. But I won't smile because you asked me to. I think I still have a little bit of a rebellious spirit left (keep the prayer there). If you ask me to do something just because (and there's not real reason behind it), there's a chance I won't do it. I'm just being honest. Another thing, I don't like being cheesy. I feel like being that way cuts you off from so many people. I like people who are real, honest and practices wisdom. The key word in that sentence is Wisdom. You can be honest or real with someone and hurt them or you can use wisdom and approach the person in a way they don't feel belittled ot threatened. Any who...... I am finally done ranting, be blessed.
