Mother's Day + A Case of the Mondays = A GIVEAWAY!

Hi loves!  I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Mother's Day weekend.  I know I sure enjoyed my first Mommy-To-Be Day!  We had a full day of Mother's to celebrate yesterday, but LET me tell you what this soon to be mommy was showered with ...

{I woke up to these LOVELY tulips from the baby-daddy.  He even put them in the cute vase that my mom's well meant hilariously NON subtle "congratulations you're pregnant" arrangement came in!}

{The flowers from my darling FIL.  Love the one yellow rose for the yellow rose of Texas!}

{$25 giftcard from my momma to buy some ever-so-lovely little frills to accomodate my ever-so-expanding waist line!}

And another highlight of Mother's Day.  My sweet MIL took me shopping and HOOKED A SISTER UP with some maternity clothes.  And oh maternity pants, can I just say, I love you?  Cause I do.  No buttons?  Yes please, no zippers?  BRING IT ON!  I am not exactly filling them out yet, but I'm on my way and they sure are a WELCOME addition to my closet.

Now, onto my weekend ... well, let's just say that the Mister and I were in bed by 9:30 PM on Friday night.  Yes, I'm serious.  And we slept until 10:00 AM.  Go ahead and do the math on that night's worth of sleep.  Yep, glorious.  Absolutely glorious.  Saturday I laid out (in the 70 degree breezy Texas weather that, mind you, was 90 degrees the day before, I'm not complaining it made laying out EASY PEASY) then ran some Mother's Day errands (you know, buying presents and such) and then the Mister and I had a date to The Village Burger Bar.  That's right, good bye food aversions, HELLO turkey burger!  After staring at everyone's delicious margaritas longingly finishing dinner the Mister and I decided we needed some sweet treats to go with our Netflix movie night (seriously, we're lame) and then headed home to watch 2012.  And now, I'm scared of Christmas 2012.  Not really because I don't believe in all that bidness, but kinda.  And there you have it.  That was it kids.  Our exciting weekend.  Seriously, we're 80.  But I DO have exciting news for this week!  We go for our 12 week sonogram on Wednesday!  I can.NOT.WAIT to see the Little One again!  Hopefully we'll get some pictures that I can post!  Not that y'all care about seeing the little blur on the screen, but hey it's my blizzog and I can post what I want to.  Mmmmk?

So, SINCE (as stated in the title of this post) I am having a major case of the Mondays (due to missing out of my day long activity of laying around and doing nothing yesterday per my usual Sundays as of late) I'm going to tell you about something EXCITING!  I'm hosting a GIVEAWAY!  Of what, you ask?  Well, my darling friend from college, who is ALSO expecting a (her second) little one (a BOY she just found out!), Amanda of Tiny Bit More ...

Tiny Bit More

... has graciously offered (in honor of baby Fulmer) to giveaway a onesie, bib and burp cloth set customizable to your little one's gender and name!  Here's an example she sent me so you could see her adorable work!

Is that not the CUTEST ever?  I'm so pumped to have her make me one for baby F whenever we find out if it's a little he or a little she!

SO, what do you have to do to enter you ask?  Well a few things, to give you extra entries of course.

1.  Become a follower (if you're not already) and tell me you did. (1 entry)
2.  Post about this blog on your blog and come back and tell me. (3 entries)
3.  Become a fan (i.e. "like it") of Tiny Bit More on facebook and come back and tell me. (2 entries)
4.  Tell me your favorite item on Tiny Bit More's etsy site. (1 entry)

As you can see, MULTIPLE ways for numerous entries!  The giveaway will close Monday, May 17th (my birthday!) at 8:00 PM.  Good luck ladies and hopefully this has pulled you all out of your own "case of the Mondays" ...

OH and P dittle S, please head on over to my Soulmatey's blog, I'm guest blogging today but on top of that she's having a FUN wedding week since she's getting MAWWIED this coming weekend!  So head on over, wish her a congrats on becoming a Mrs. from a Miss and join in the fun!!!

{Keeping with my birfday month photos.  Don't mind this hot ... frightening ... ghost of a 16 year old.  How on EARTH did my mother ever let me leave the house wearing foundation that color?  Apparently tanning was not a part of my vocabulary until college ... ?  And those are my sweet puppies that are no longer with us, KC (K for Katie, C for Clay - we were creative) died on my 21st birfday.  She was 13, Dusty died on my MOM'S birfday.  She was 12, I think?  Sweet puppies.}
