Kristen Stewart - Career - Zathura In 2005

Kristen Stewart appeared in the fantasy-adventure film Zathura, playing the role of Lisa – an irresponsible older sister of two little boys, who turn their house into a spacecraft hurtling uncontrollably in outer space by playing a board game. The movie received praise by critics, but Kristen Stewart's performance didn't garner much media attention as it was noted that her character is immobilized during most of the movie.

The following year, Kristen Stewart played the character Maya in Fierce People, directed by Griffin Dunne. After that, stewart received the lead role of Jess Solomon in the supernatural thriller movie The Messengers. The movie was successful commercially, however, it received highly negative reviews by critics.

It's a good thing that Robert Pattinson scored the part of Edward in Twilight. His costar Kristen Stewart says she cannot imagine another actor in the role.

"Not to put down any of the other actors who came in, because they were really good, but everyone came in playing Edward as this perfect, happy-go-lucky guy," Kristen Stewart, 18, tells Teen magazine's winter issue.

"But I got hardcore pain from Rob. It was purely just connection."

Robert Pattinson, meanwhile, researched his role seriously: He studied Stephenie Meyer's book.

Robert Pattinson says:"I kind of tried to read the book from Edward's perspective," "He's this guy seen through the eyes of someone who is completely, obsessively in love with him. So I tried to make a reality about it and take it to how he sees himself."

Welcome Back Me!

Well it's been just over two months now and I have been a SLACKER! I really want to get into blogging again... and I still have ramdom stuff happen all the time and I say to myself..."Me, put this in my blog!" But then I don't do it because I'm too stressed and/or tired.

Well guess what I've discovered... sleeping pills!! YAYYYYY!! I actually CAN get a normal night's sleep instead of 4 hours of tossing and turning and overthinking every detail of my life. I also have just over 2 weeks of school left (that's assuming I pass)... so after that things should calm down a bit and I can update about the last 2 months.

Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed To Reunite, Play Men In Prison Film 'K-11’

Today, “Twilight” fans are finally coming out by the millions to see beautiful young actresses Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed star in the feature film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s beloved vampire book. Now, MTV has the scoop on the out-of-left-field concept that will reunite the real-life friends just a few weeks later…as men?

“I’m doing a movie called ‘K-11’ in January with Kristen Stewart,” Reed told us on the red carpet of the “Twilight” premiere Monday night. “It’s about a little-known section of the men’s county jail. I’m playing a man, and Kristen’s playing a boy.”

Nikki Reed Surprises Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart looks genuinely surprised as BFF costar Nikki Reed sneaks up to her from behind at the San Diego Comic Con on Thursday afternoon.

The duo were joined by cast mates Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Christian Serratos, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Rachelle Lefevre at the event.

The whole cast surprised many of their fans by sticking around for The Twilight Experience, a one-night-only special theatrical re-release of the film with an introduction and Q&A session with the stars, Thursday night at the Gaslamp Pacifc Theaters.



BTW... The term “K-11” refers to a dormitory section of the Los Angeles jail used to hold gay inmates, as explained in this 2004 L.A. Times story. According to a recent interview with Stewart, the film is a mixture of drama and comedy.

Although little else is known about the film, one of their co-stars will be Kevin Smith cult icon Jason Mewes, who recently confirmed his involvement with “K-11”in a radio interview and said that he’d dyed his hair black for the role. And although Reed didn’t have time to elaborate on how she and Stewart would be transforming themselves into testosterone-fueled prison inmates, the 20-year-old “Thirteen” star said she had confidence in the film’s director – who also happens to have an intimate connection with the lading lady of “Twilight.”

“Jules Stewart is directing; that’s her mother,” Reed explained of Kristen’s Australian-born mom, the veteran script supervisor behind such films as “Are We There Yet?” and “The Straight Story”. “I have full faith in Jules. I suppose I would be [nervous about the handling of our transformations] if it were coming from left field, but I’ve known about the script for a very long time.”
